Leadville CO and Southern Railroad Tours in Summit County

Take a train ride on your Colorado vacation this summer.

Special trips available are the wildflower tours on the Leadville Train on July 17 and July 24, and they are filling up. The tour is a 3-hour trip up and includes a 30-minute hike with several of our field guides who know a lot about the flowers and plants in the area. The tour begins at our depot in Leadville, where you meet with your group and hop on the train to ride up to the watertower. During the trip up, people have a chance to see some of the wildflowers and a variety of different high mountain vistas. This unique location includes a meadow, aspen forest and pine forest as well as a creek that trickles down from the higher mountains. People can view the indian paint brush, columbine (the state flower), and many other beauties along the way. In What To Do Magazine, use the Leadville CO and Southern Railroad coupon.  COUPON
