Construction of the public improvements associated with the store is currently underway. This national home improvement retailer hopes to be open for business in January 2012.
AutoZone
Town Council approved the Final Site Plan for a new AutoZone store on June 22, 2011. AutoZone, which is a retailer and distributor of automotive replacement parts and accessories, will be a welcomed addition to the center of Town, with the new store proposed on the corner of 6th Street and HWY 9.
Sav-o-Mat
Progress on the improvements for Sav-o-Mat, which include an exterior upgrade of the store, as well as new landscaping, drainage, and parking and paving, is moving forward. Staff met with the applicant to discuss the project on May 23, 2011. The Town is currently waiting for the applicant to submit revisions to the plans so that the project can be scheduled for Planning Commission and Town Council review.
